No two cases are exactly alike, and in terms of the money involved as well as geography, the Trafalgar House and Dakota cases are not even in the same neighborhood. But both cases show how claims of discrimination are often difficult to untangle from the myriad other disputes that arise in the close quarters of New York City apartment living.
